REST API

One API, the same gateway as the console

Award points, enroll members, or trigger a pass update from your own systems. Every write is authenticated with a scoped API key and every money-like write supports an Idempotency-Key, so a retried request never double-applies.

MEMBER_UUID is the id the API returns when you enroll a member or search for their Member ID. It is not the Member ID printed on the pass.

Webhooks

React to what happens on your programs

Subscribe an HTTPS endpoint to any of 12 event types and Stow Cards POSTs a signed JSON payload the moment it happens, with automatic retries if your endpoint is briefly down.

  • HMAC-SHA256 signed, with a timestamp to reject replays
  • Retried on failure; every delivery is logged and replayable
  • Subscribe to specific events, or * for everything

How it works

Built for safe, repeatable calls

Scoped API keys

Each key is bound to one merchant and inherits the permissions of the roles you assign it. A till integration can award points; it cannot change billing or staff access.

Idempotent writes

Send the same Idempotency-Key twice and the adjustment applies once, so a dropped connection can be retried safely.

One gateway

The console, the scanner app, and the API all go through the same gateway, so behavior stays consistent everywhere.
